Evode was abandoned by his father when he was only 9 years. His brother died and he is now living with his mother, who is HIV positive.
With the poor health of his mother, she isn’t able to work and provide for him, so he resorted to begging. Good Samaritans in the community give him food at times but most of the time he sleeps on an empty stomach.
He,is a very bright young man and dreams of becoming an engineer in the future, unfortunately he hasn’t been given an opportunity to go to school.
